How to care for your jewelry
We make jewelry with different types of metals. Depending on whether it is stainless steel, 925 silver or gold-plated, their maintenance is not the same.
Stainless steel is a very resistant metal, it does not oxidize and therefore does not require any particular maintenance. You can clean it with a soft cloth
Care of stainless steel jewelry
We manufacture jewelry in 316l stainless steel of the highest quality. The finish of our jewelry is very important to us and that's why we do our best to offer you perfect jewelry. Our stainless steel jewelry is designed to last a lifetime. However, they require a little maintenance from time to time to keep their shine and strength.
Here are a few tips for maintaining your stainless steel jewelry:
– Use a soft cloth to clean them. You can also rinse them with warm water and wipe them thoroughly.
– If your jewelry is very dirty, you can immerse it in a mixture of warm water and mild soap. Let them soak for a few minutes before rinsing them with clean water and wiping them dry.
– Never use harsh chemicals to clean your stainless steel jewelry, as this can damage the surface.
By following these tips, you can easily maintain your stainless steel jewelry and keep it in good condition for many, many years.
Maintenance of 925 silver jewelry
We make 925 silver jewelry. This means that your jewelry is almost pure silver. However, silver naturally tarnishes over time. Fortunately, there are a few simple ways to clean your silver jewelry and make it shine like new!
– For quick and easy cleaning, use a soft cloth to wipe your jewelry. You can also rinse them with cold water and dry them with a clean cloth.
– For a more thorough cleaning (in case of tarnishing), prepare a solution of distilled water and toothpaste or baking soda. Put your jewelry in the solution and scrub gently with the toothbrush. Then rinse with cold water and dry with a clean cloth.
– You can also buy silver jewelry cleaning products at jewelry stores. Simply follow the manufacturer's instructions.
One last piece of advice, avoid exposing your silver jewelry to the sun all the time. This will accelerate their oxidation. By wearing them regularly, you will help preserve their shine. But as soon as you don't use it anymore, store your silver jewelry in a thick, opaque fabric bag (velvet type) or in a jewelry box. This will prevent them from oxidizing again.
Maintenance of gold-plated jewelry
We make 18k gold plated jewelry. Plating is a thin layer of gold that covers the base metal. Usually the gold layer of a gold-plated jewelry is 1 to 3 microns.
18K gold plating has excellent staying power, but it doesn't last forever. Indeed, gold is a very malleable material and is therefore easily scratched or damaged. Gold-plated jewelry therefore needs special care to preserve its shine and beauty.
Here are some tips on how to care for your gold-plated jewelry:
– Avoid wearing them when doing activities that can damage them, such as sports or gardening.
– Also avoid wearing them when taking hot baths or exposing yourself to chemicals, such as soap or shampoo.
– To clean your jewelry, use only cold water and a soft cloth.
– Store your jewelry in a dry, dark place, such as a closed box or drawer.
By following these tips, your gold-plated jewelry will keep its shine and beauty for years to come!
