Why did we choose the forget-me-not?
Well, because in the language of flowers, the forget-me-not equals fidelity and eternal love.
Where does this belief come from? From a chivalrous legend. This one is about a knight and his lady who were walking by the water and fell while picking up a flower. The latter was carried away by the weight of its armor. As he was drowning, the knight threw the flower to his bride, shouting “don’t forget me”.
